Learn to Smock a Dress - BAYMEADOWS
During class 1, we will provide a small pleated insert and a darning needle to learn and practice basic geometric smocking stitches. We will show you how to prepare your dress piece to pleat and pleat it for you to take home. We will block the dress for smocking in class so you can complete the smocking at home before class 2. Instructions will be given to prepare for the next class.
During class 2, you will bring back the completed pleated dress section with the remainder of the dress pieces cut out. We will construct the dress during this class.
