Tropical Storm Hermine
Just an update in regards to Tropical Storm Hermine -- so long as the shop has power and the storm does not create dangerous conditions, the shop will be open until further notice. I will post to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter should we close at any time this weekend. We will however for sure be closed on Monday, September 5th in observance of Labor Day. For those of you west of us, especially in Tallahassee area - we are thinking about you as this storm approaches land. Stay safe!
We have restocked the Grunge line with 27 colors! I am working to get all of the Grunge on our website so you can see all of the beautiful colors we have available.
We received 20 new colorful batiks today from Timeless Treasures Jelly Bean line.
We added a few additional states to the Deco States fabric on bolts. Welcome Rhode Island, Indiana, Delaware, Vermont and Texas!
Michele has a new beginner's class called Stepping Stones and it starts on Monday, September 12th. It is a 3 yard quilt and is wonderful for all types of fabrics. The class is $45 and in 3 sessions. She also has another Night Stitchers on September 16th.
Don't miss our new "Club Sunday" on Sunday, September 11th from 11am-4pm. It will be just $5 (pre-registration required) and any small group can come to use the classroom to meet. Hand Embroidery, Featherweight, UFO, Fiber Arts and the like are all welcome.
Faye is teaching Marti Michell's Feathered Star pattern on September 20th and Interlocking Hexagons on September 27 and October 4th. Check the link for more details.
Donna is teaching the darling Daisy Backpack on September 24th. It is the perfect size for adults and children alike. Just the right size for shopping, travel or just day to day use.
Just a friendly reminder to sign up at least a week in advance of class. We want to be able to give at least 5 days notice for teachers and students to plan accordingly. If you register and the class does not make, we will provide a full refund. You can view the class handout PDF or check out all the new classes through October here.
Til next time, keep those needles moving!
